Salvador Gullo

Founder

Brazilian physician and healthcare executive. Trained as a transplant surgeon at PUCRS in Porto Alegre, he led the kidney and pancreas transplant program at Hospital São Lucas — over 300 kidney and 78 pancreas transplants — before transitioning to healthcare management. He directed Unimed Porto Alegre's network serving 600,000 patients and authored Patient Safety: The True Healthcare Revolution. In 2019 he founded SAFETY4ME and moved to Carlsbad, California, where he completed a post-doctorate at SDSU. Board Certified as a Medical Affairs Specialist with deep expertise in patient safety, value-based care, and doctor relationships, he leads Samba Trials' consulting practice — connecting biotech sponsors to Brazilian research centers and advising on site feasibility, ANVISA strategy, and medical-affairs operations. Fluent in Portuguese and English.

Daniel Branco

Advisor

Brazilian-American biotech executive and neuroscientist by training. He is the founder of BioAlma, the AI intelligence platform that powers Samba Trials' clinical-trial landscape research, and has spent the past decade building the data and patient-recruitment infrastructure connecting Brazilian and US biotech sponsors to research sites. Based in San Diego, he advises Samba Trials on strategy, ecosystem partnerships, and product direction. Fluent in Portuguese and English.
